Patch Notes 1.1.14.7

1.1.14.7 Patch Notes

Newness:
  • All maps have had their spawn doors tweaked for better performance.
  • Improved quick join functionality after a match has ended.

Characters:
  • Jumping now requires 30% of your maximum stamina and will only occur if you have enough stamina to perform a jump.

Earth:
  • The event horizon's aura will now trigger claymores to explode the moment they are armed. Be warned commandos, this might hurt a bit.
  • Interactables are now worth 2 points on Team Death Match and are worth 1 point during Conquest.

Galactic Domination:
  • We are excited to announce new and improved Galactic Domination bonuses!
  • The winning faction will now get a boost to their experience earned up to 30%.
  • Losing on Amarna grants your faction a damage boost up to 30%.
  • Losing on Earth grants your faction a defense boost up to 30%.
  • Losing on Piramess grants your faction a energy regen boost up to 30%.
  • Losing on Leonops grants your faction a health boost up to 30%.

Leonops:
  • The ring transporters have been tweaked and can now fit as many people as you can fit inside of them. Go ahead, we dare you.

Weapons:
  • Splash damage radii have all been increased.
  • Splash damage will now deal damage to players even when airborne.
  • The collision on the scientist beacons have been adjusted to be the same radii as the turrets they spawn.

Bug Fixes:
  • Spawn doors will no longer stay closed for players at match start who are trying to rush them.
  • Users clicking any of the logout options are now properly removed from the sever count once they logout.
  • Winning KotH as the System Lords will now display in the proper text colors.
  • The Jaffa standard and Anubis armor have had LOD changes to correct a texture issue.

Amarna:
  • A librarian has been dispatched to hush those loud noises on Amarna-Temple.
  • The windows near the spawn rooms have been re-aligned.
  • The invisible ledges in the center room pillars should no longer exist.
  • Improved movement flow in a few of the locations players might get stuck or hover in.
  • The particle effects for KotH on Amarna should now all match and be only the divided ring and superman symbol in the sky.

Console Commands:
  • The console command "toggleui" has been disabled. (This has also disabled the f10 hotkey)
  • Players can no longer utilize the "serverlistchange" command.
  • The "StartAltFire" command had been disabled to prevent negative effects.
  • Some bad log messages have been removed from the console.

Earth:
  • The white board's gravity flux capacitor has been fixed! The panels will no longer rave about in the meeting room.

Leonops:
  • The forcefields should allow for multiple users to pass through simultaneously now.
  • Turrets should no longer be able to shoot into the spawn rooms and will most likely explode if they get too close to the forcefields.
  • Loud noises coming from the water on Leonops have also been warned to keep it down!

Piramess:
  • The spawn door nearest the flags has been raised to prevent Jaffa and their big heads from getting stuck.
  • Blocking volumes have been added to prevent players from getting to locations not zoned for gameplay.
  • Jumping into the pit on Piramess will incur death no matter who, what, when, where or why.
  • Lighting on whiteout has been adjusted to prevent blinding players near light sources.

Weapons:
  • Failing to place a beacon will no longer trigger a cooldown.
  • Rapidly firing weapons after a reload will no longer put you back into a reload state.
  • Killing a turret will now award 1/2 the normal kill value in team and personal score.
  • Turrets and beacons will now die from entering kill volumes depending on who the owner of the turret is.

1.1.13.4 Patch Notes

Newness:
  • Introducing gametype King of the Hill! Engage in frenetic battle to maintain control of the Temple on Amarna.
  • Earth-SGC now fully supports the Team Deathmatch gametype in addition to Conquest.
  • New Interactive Launcher! The new game launcher delivers patch notes, news, maintenance announcements and more. Its skinnable interface allow players to create their own unique looks.
  • Objective screens now display information specific to the gametype you are playing.
  • Performance improvements to graphical materials.

Characters:
  • Ambient lighting has been adjusted for better visuals, mostly noticeable on the Soldier BDUs.
  • The unlockable animating Jaffa helmet now has audio to accompany the animation.

Piramess:
  • Performance enhancements on the Piramess map.
  • Enhanced environmental ambiance on Piramess.
  • Some piles of snow will now react to gun fire; shoot the ground to see some flurries!

Security:
  • Enhanced security around login information.

UI:
  • The System Lords icon has been updated

Bug Fixes:
  • SGC Icons will now show up for the Conquest gametype upon login.
  • Network issues while logging in to servers have been resolved.
  • A stats display bug which was rarely causing equipment lockout has been addressed.

Console Commands:
  • All Field of View values have been clamped to be between 65 and 115.
  • The console command "closemenu" has been disabled to prevent certain exploits from being performed.

Stargate:
  • The event horizon has been adjusted to not draw over certain particle systems like the Goa'uld Shield or Staff Blasts.

Weapons:
  • While inside the sniper scope, a player will not be able to change their Field of View settings.

Newness:

Weapons:
  • Scientists have become overly ambitious attempting to throw numerous beacons to aid their team. Their equipment has been reconditioned by Ops to utilize the respawn / cooldown system much like grenades and claymores. For example, if a scientist turret explodes while a beacon is placed, the beacon will now disappear and the Scientist will also have to wait for the full 15 second cooldown to place another.
  • New animations for the Goa'uld when healing or attacking players with the ribbon device, the arm will now animate on all clients.

Bug Fixes:
  • Corrected a spelling error on CTT gametype messaging when returning the System Lord tech
  • UI audio feedback now in place when selecting the Jaffa on the SL class screen, matching other classes.
  • A few blocks have had their collision adjusted on Amarna-Temple to prevent players from phase shifting and hiding in them.
  • Holding Tab while a match ends will function as if you closed the tab screen prior to the game ending and no longer draws overlapping screens.
  • The achievement “In the Middle of my Back Swing” now fits within one line on the class stats page.
  • Loading and objective screens now display properly for each planet
  • Committing suicide will now incur death properly for both teams and display a <playername> suicided message.
  • Idle kick rules will now apply to players idle on the class select screen.
  • Weapons:
  • Projectile based weapons can now go beyond the invisible roof of Leonops (shhh… don’t tell Mahes it’s a bubble).
  • Scientist's attempting to place a healing dispenser will no longer get two beacon placements per click.
  • Jaffa melee attacks will now ignore the 'red x' system.
